Would be great to get all of this waste into dry composting areas to heat up-- the SF sewage plant actually had a pretty awesome digestion chamber when I went to study it, in 1995-6. It has no internal moving parts. I found it quite fascinating.

My baby has been having dreams of high water and packs of dogs that she says are at the playground, in her own yard, and I wonder if she is in tune with the great number of children who now know these very real dangers.

The Big Berky water filter has elements available to filter out lead and arsenic, they say.
The people at Twin Falls, HI suggested using a poly pipe called Driscol to run water, but I haven't done much more research on it yet.

Turkey's building of 22 dams on Euphrates and Tigris, whih is against international law, is causing the water shortages in Syria and Iraq. Iraq, the craddle of civilization, stands parallized against the theft of its resources(thanks to US invasion) and is unable to defend its human rights for water. If this continues and the world allows Turkey to finish its 'GAP' projects, about 5 million refugess from Iraq and Syria are threatened with displacement and starvation.

Oh land, mercy sakes!! and other exclamations-- How does this happen?? Oh, right, it is happening down the road from me. Maybe George Carlin is right and there is nothing I can do.

Or maybe that isn't what he is saying at all. What he says is they own us and we can think-- and be smart, and not believe the lies, and pay more attention to water than to football/ soccer/ whatever, beer. And people do need to wake up to the dire need to use the mind and address these pressing issues... but what are we going to do?
